I first came to learn of Terrier SOS when my uncle adopted one of their beautiful dogs. Roughly one year ago now he recommended me to them to take some professional images of some of the dogs that were in desperate need of their forever homes as he also a dog groomer. So, June last year, he groomed 3 of Terrier SOS's adoptables and they enjoyed a pamper and a glamorous photoshoot afterward. I am very happy to say that all three have now left TSOS and are being loved by their human parents.
Shortly after this photoshoot, i visited the kennels to meet Queen Victoria and Kika who you will learn more about shortly... They were both super loving and perfect models as you'll now see.
So this brings us to now... I saw that Terrier SOS were looking for more volunteers early this year so I put forward for taking some more photographs for them to use to try and aid rehoming their rescue dogs.
We booked our first photoshoot and who did we have? The gorgeous Kika & Queen Vic. Bearing in mind, this has been a full year since i last met them, which means they have spent another year in kennels. They are the reason i am writing my first ever blog post, because having spent time with them, i really can vouch that they deserve loving homes and desperately need to get out of kennels.
I'm going to show you a few pictures from each of their sessions followed by a short description about each of them so that if you know of any one who is looking for their fur companion then you can share this with them and we can all keep our fingers crossed that we can find these dogs somewhere for them to spend the rest of their lives.
Kika:
Kika is from a perrera in spain. "Time was not on her side – she is a larger (15 kilo) cross – and she ran out of time – they needed to clear kennels and she would be the next to go. I had been asked if we could help her several times – and we said we were unable – but I got a final message asking if I could just try and squeeze her in – if we said No – Kika would lose her life – it is really that simple."
"Kika is 4 years old – she is a female cross – we arent sure but think Bull Terrier / Collie Cross – she is a bit larger that a fox terrier – she is a very loving girl and she needs a family that has the time and commitment to her."
"We want this year to be Kika’s year. If you can be the one in a million family please contact us."

Queen Victoria
Vic lived in a ravine for 4 years. "She is a black dog, she is shy of people, but after visiting several times – she started waiting for her volunteer humans at the front of the kennel…"
"She’s a senior lady, around 8 or 9 years old, she is approx 15/18 kilos – about knee high. She is a real sweetheart – perfectly fine with other dogs and has tested well with cats (could live with dog savvy cats)"
"Ideally we are looking for a family that will take life at her pace, a really calm life without too much going on. She doesn’t need to go for long walks – she needs a good garden and the new family to keep her brain entertained. She will help you in the garden, she will be by your side watching TV, she will help you in the kitchen … a little too much (she does love her food!)
Could you be that special home for her? We know that once she finds her family – she will blossom"

Chloe came to us to do a family shoot in the woods behind our house.
Even when we were actually doing the shoot I was impressed by her but when I saw the photographs I was astounded! They are amazing!
She seemed to capture my little girls personality on camera and I will definitely ask her to do any future photography.

I had a boudoir/ tasteful nudes shot what was new to Chloe as well as myself. It has been something i've wanted to do a long time but I wanted more tattoos first. Going there I was so nervous but upon meeting Chloe I felt relaxed within minutes. The photos came out amazing and I would recommend it for anyone of any age as I felt so empowered after and was on a real natural high! The hardest part now is choosing what ones to print!

We had a newborn photo shoot with my baby who didn’t want to play ball. Chloe was so patient with him and didn’t rush us. My partner and I left thinking oh god there will not be hardly any photos due to him wiggling and crying lots. We thank Chloe for the stunning, beautiful photographs she took for our daughter Becky's wedding at the beginning of September . She captured the day perfectly and there were smiles on all of the faces . It was a beautiful setting, unused before and she made the most of the surroundings to capture some gorgeous memories and some great moments with guests milling about, all very natural.
